Overview

We created this 11-day program for travelers who want to see Egypt's main historic sites at a comfortable pace. First, you'll spend three days in Cairo touring the Giza Pyramids, Saqqara, and the Grand Egyptian Museum with your own guide and driver. From Cairo, you fly south to Aswan to catch your Nile cruise ship, stopping at riverfront temples along the way to Luxor. After finishing the West Bank tombs in Luxor, we’ll continue our journey at Hurghada, where you'll have three clear days to enjoy the Red Sea coast before flying back home.

Tour Plan

  • Pickup: once you arrive at the airport. You will find our representative from Kemerya Tours waiting for you to help you and take you to the hotel.
  • Hotel Check-in: When you arrive at the hotel, enjoy your welcome drink and stay back. Our representative will finish all the check-in procedures, and he will review your itinerary
  • Your First Night in Egypt: Enjoy a peaceful night and get a good night’s rest. Tomorrow we will begin our adventure with one of the world's greatest wonders.
  • Optional tours: There’re many optional tours if you hope; you can choose one of Kemerya's optional tours, such as

  • Giza Pyramids: After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey with one of the world’s greatest wonders. the legendary Giza Pyramids to see King Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. It was built from more than 4,500 years ago.
  • Great Sphinx: Then we’ll see the Great Sphinx. Standing beside the Giza Pyramids. It’s a lion body with the face of a pharaoh. And it is considered one of the greatest symbols of ancient Egypt.
  • Camel or Horse Optional Ride: there’re any optional activities in the Pyramids; you can choose between a horse ride or camel ride to start your adventure across the golden desert surrounding the Giza Pyramids and enjoy the spectacular panoramic views while exploring the quieter side of the Giza Plateau away from the crowds.
  • Saqqara Step Pyramid: Head south to Saqqara to look at the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest large stone structure in Egypt.
  • Return to your hotel: After a wonderful day exploring the historical landmarks of Cairo, we’ll return to your hotel to relax after this amazing tour.
  • Pickup: After breakfast, our representative will take you in a comfortable AC car to start our journey.
  • Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM): After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey at the Grand Egyptian Museum to discover thousands of the remarkable artifacts that tell the story of ancient Egypt, and it is the newest and the largest archaeological museum dedicated to a single civilization.   • Coptic Cairo: Then we’ll visit the Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, St. Sergius Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue, and your Egyptologist guide will tell you the historical stories about these historic sites.
  • Citadel of Saladin: After that we’ll go to the Citadel of Salahdin to visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali and enjoy the panoramic views at one of the most iconic landmarks in Cairo.
  • Islamic Cairo: Then we’ll explore the historic streets of Islamic Cairo that are surrounded by old mosques and local shops.
  • Khan El-Khalili Bazaar: We’ll finish our journey at Khan Elkhalili; take your time exploring the narrow alleys and browsing Egyptian souvenirs.
  • Return to your hotel: After a wonderful day exploring the cultural heart of Cairo, we’ll return to your hotel to relax after this amazing tour.
  • Fly to Aswan: Check out after breakfast, and our driver will take you to Cairo Airport for your flight south.
  • Philae Temple: Head down to the river to catch a local motorboat over to Agilkia Island to explore the beautifully preserved temple complex dedicated to Isis.
  • Board the Ship: Drive to the dock, check into your cabin, and grab lunch onboard as the boat stays docked in Aswan.
  • High Dam & Felucca: Visit the Aswan High Dam in the afternoon, one of Egypt’s greatest modern engineering achievements, and learn about its impact on the Nile and surrounding regions, then hop on a wooden sailing boat to drift around Elephantine Island.
  • Morning Sail: Spend a quiet morning on the sun deck as the ship starts cruising downstream toward Kom Ombo.
  • Kom Ombo Temple: We will go to Kom Ombo Temple, which is located on the banks of the Nile. When we arrive, we’ll know that it was dedicated to two gods. Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder.
  • Crocodile Museum: Pop into the small museum next to the temple to view the mummified crocodiles found along the riverbanks.
  • Sailing Toward Edfu: The cruise will continue sailing toward Edfu at night.
  • Breakfast: Take your breakfast on board before heading out to explore Edfu.
  • Edfu Temple: After the breakfast, we’ll visit Edfu Temple. It's one of the most historically significant places in Edfu that has remained remarkably intact for more than 2,000 years, allowing you to admire its impressive gateways, detailed carving, and magnificent halls.
  • Return to the Cruise: After finishing our journey in Edfu, we’ll return back to the cruise to continue sailing to Luxor.
  • Lunchtime: While the cruise is sailing to Luxor, enjoy your delicious lunch and relax.
  • Luxor at Night: The cruise will arrive to Luxor at night; you’ll enjoy the natural views of the Nile at night.
  • Kings Valley: Cross over to the West Bank after an early breakfast to step inside three painted royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings.
  • Hatshepsut’s Temple: After that we will visit Hatshepsut's Temple. Its unique design we've never seen in any place It was built for the queen Hatshepsut, one of the few women to rule Egypt as pharaoh.
  • Colossi of Memnon: Then we’ll go to Colossi of Memnon. These are two massive stone statues that have stood guard over Luxor's West Bank.
  • Karnak Temple: This place is simply enormous. This Karnak temple served as the religious heart of ancient Thebes. It was built to Amun-Ra, and more than 30 pharaohs left their mark here, making every corner tell a different story. we will know more information when we arrive there.
  • Luxor Temple: Next we will visit Luxor Temple to continue our discovery tour. It is one of the most elegant monuments in ancient Egypt. And Luxor Temple played an important role in royal ceremonies. and it later expanded by Ramses II
  • Hurghada Drive: After we finish our journey in Luxor, our driver will take you toward Hurghada.
  • Beach & Pool Time: The morning is completely free for swimming or sunbathing along the coast.
  • Marine Center: Visit the resort’s water sports center if you plan to rent snorkeling equipment or set up a massage at the spa.
  • Breakfast with a sea view: Take your breakfast while enjoy the Red Sea view
  • Beach Time: Take your time relaxing by the Red Sea, swimming and enjoying the beach.
  • Optional Activities: There’re many optional tours if you hope; you can choose one of Kemerya's optional tours, such as

  • Lunchtime: you’ll eat one of the most delicious Egyptian foods in Hurghada, take a break, and enjoy your delicious lunch before continuing our journey

  • Resort Grounds: After breakfast, use the morning to swim in the sea or relax around the resort pools.
  • Bedouin Desert Trek: Get Ready to meet our driver in the afternoon for a transfer to the quad station, where you'll ride into the desert hills for tea at a Bedouin tent during sunset.
  • Marina Promenade: After that you can visit Hurghada Marina to explore the local shops, and spend time at the waterfront cafes.
  • Flight to Cairo: take your breakfast before check out of your resort, and our team will drive you to Hurghada Airport for your return flight to Cairo.
  • Airport Transfer: At the scheduled time our representative will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
